Precision polymers for hybrid nanomaterials

Organic–inorganic hybrid nanocomposites are an emerging class of materials that hold significant promise due to their outstanding properties. We propose various strategies (in situ synthesis, post-functionalization) for the preparation of RAFT polymer-inorganic nanoparticles (e.g. Au or Fe₂O₃) in water using amphiphilic and double hydrophilic block copolymer stabilizers.
